For this live recording of Hugo Wolf's Spanish and Italian Songbooks Wolfgang Holzmair has partnered with Birgid Steinberger (soprano), Michaela Selinger (mezzo-soprano), Georg Beckmann (piano) and Russell Ryan (piano).

Following the successful presentation of the Theresienstadt programme in New York (Holzmair was riveting, especially in his communication of the words, Susan Brodie in the American Record Guide), the artist will soon perform this medley of songs and chamber music in Prague, together with the Nash Ensemble and Russell Ryan.

Wolfgang's Holzmair successful appearance with orchestrated Wolf songs at the Budapest Mahler Festival in September 2011, with Iván Fischer conducting the Budapest Festival Orchestra, is documented on Youtube
In the September 2011 issue of Opéra Wolfgang Holzmair's Mahler Album (Nightingale Classics NC 000101-1) was awarded "Le Diamant d'Opéra", the top score for CDs. This CD is also a commercial success, with the initial CD run being almost sold out. The CD is currently being re-pressed

On April 30, 2008, Wolfgang Holzmair received his FRCM from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. By his nomination for this honour the RCM Council expressed its appreciation for Mr. Holzmair's services to music and to the College.
